For Families
As a family loving kids from hard places, don’t try to do this alone.
Get connected with others who understand.
We know this journey is not easy, but it's even harder to try to do alone. We are used to be the helpers, not the ones asking for help.
But you need your tribe.
Whether it’s needing help to get connected to resources that are out there, coming to a local family gathering on a Saturday, or just having a community of people who "get it", you are headed in the right direction by getting connected with us at Commission 127. We can’t wait to meet you.
Support
It is so easy to isolate and pull away when things are hard. Support helps us have what it takes to continue loving, even when it’s hard. None of us can do this well by ourselves.
Florida Reasonable and Prudent Parent Standard
This law allows foster parents to give foster children permission to do daily, age appropriate, activities.
Wekiva Foster Closet
This is a place for foster, adoptive, & reunified families to shop for items they may need such as clothing, beds, car seats, strollers, toys, shoes, formula, and more.
