Christine Colon

FAM Specialist

Christine Colon was raised in the Orlando area, where she currently resides with her husband and young son. After earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida in Art History, Christine felt the Lord lead her into a different direction and began her journey serving children and families by coordinating for a local non-profit's elementary school program for eight years. Her passion for connecting people with resources grew over the years, particularly when she transitioned to being on staff for her church as a ministry coordinator. It was there she was introduced to C127, as she helped coordinate the church's FAM for five years. Through that experience, Christine witnessed the profound impact of care communities and the vital role of the local church in supporting vulnerable children.

In August 2024, she joined the C127 team as a FAM Specialist, eager to share her experience and help other churches start and sustain their own FAMs. With a heart for service and a love for connecting people, Christine is dedicated to help make a lasting impact in the lives of children and families in her community.

Christine and her family enjoy being in nature - whether it’s relaxing at the beach, discovering new parks and springs, or camping together.
