Agency FAM Specialist
Sarah Jo is a Florida native who grew up in Jacksonville and then moved to Orlando to study English literature at the University of Central Florida. After living in Boston for a year to pursue a career in publishing, she ultimately returned to Orlando once again to study at UCF and earned a Master of Art in Teaching English.During her time teaching in Orange County Public Schools for 8.5 years, she married her husband, Jacob, and they adopted their son, Nick.
The Land family was served by a Care Community from their church, and have seen first hand the impact that a church’s Family Advocacy Ministry can have in supporting families. Inspired by their family’s care community experience, Sarah joined the team and now assists the Program Coordinator with CarePortal and the Socialight programs.
