Living in Florida for over 55 years, I’ve seen so much change and growth – in our cities, our culture, my life, my faith. I was introduced to Jesus as a freshman in high school and have spent my years learning more and more about Him, walking more closely with Him and looking for more ways to engage in the world He created. My entire life revolves around His mercy and grace as I experience all the goodness, the many challenges and the hard work set before me. There is no better way to live the purpose He has for me than in utter reliance on Him.
I grew up in Central Florida, went to college at University of Central Florida where I majored in mathematics education. Over the years, I became a teacher for 28 years, a mother to two beautiful children and grandmother to two precious grandchildren. If you ask, I WILL show you pictures. Along the way, I made a career change to financial planning with a focus on women experiencing major life transitions like widowhood and divorce. I am blessed to be a business-owner with incredibly like-minded partners. Outside of the office, I am actively involved in serving at my church, leading some small groups, and working with foster families through our Family Advocacy Ministry as lead advocate. I am passionate about helping surround and support children coming from difficult experiences because it is a part of my story as well.
