Lauren Gilbert

Development Assistant

Lauren grew up in North Carolina before moving to Florida in 2021 to pursue Biblical education. She received her BA in Communication at North Carolina State University and completed a certificate in Biblical Studies through Emmaus Ministries in Orlando, FL. She loves spending time outdoors and exploring new places with friends.

Between her time in wedding venue rentals, senior care, camping ministry, and student ministry, Lauren has served people from a wide range of backgrounds. She is passionate about loving the people of her city well, and especially loves working with youth.

In her role as Development Specialist, Lauren is excited to be a part of inviting others into partnering with Commission127 in caring for vulnerable children in our community.
